As I write this, the author has been releasing updates on his twitter account lmao. I can't wait. A lot of fans actually just hope he let somebody else draw everything while he is in charge of the story. Especially since his wife is Takeuchi Naoko of all people. But he wants to be the one to draw everything, which is also understandable.

First thought was of course, a boy named Gon knew that his dad still alive and began his journey to find him by becoming Hunter. But my second thought it's that there's A LOT more to it. I might answer someone that it's about journey, but that's too wide and only a top surface of it and cannot attract other people from an explanation that might be too vague. But I'm having fun to watch each reaction creators, always somebody can saw the details I've never seen or interpreted the story differences from mine yet it's so much interesting too think about it. Again, really love the journey with you guys, wish you guys be happy 😊

Ging knows this probably that's why he left Gon. But most of all, it's because Mito won the custody over Gon. She was so against Ging bringing baby Gon to all of his dangerours adventures. So you'll find people still liking Ging despite leaving Gon because also in a way, he wants Gon to decide for himself. He even left a message asking him if he wants to see him. Gon still wants to so he showed the path of what will happen if he still wants continue and what being a hunter truly means for him. Ging's reaction back in chairman voting scene was just him being him, awkward and such. Coz why not? He left Gon, undeniably, and he just didn't know how to interact to now an adolescent Gon. This is a complex stage of life, the phase where the children is starting to be rebellious and wanna be independent. So it's understandable if Ging would first assume, Gon will dislike him (which won't happen coz Gon is such a swetie and just wanna meet him so bad). We understand the terrible impression tho coz majority surely have an ideal parenthood/parenting style. Ps. Dang! I wrote so long, who would read lmao. Black Clover let's go~

(or did the monster prevail?) -gon vs. pitou, a story so angry in revenge blasted in a guards happiness to die for loyalty beyond imagination. both representing how selfish humans can be -pouf and youpi, two guards who have changed the meaning of ultimate loyalty and their unequivocal love for the king. -kurapika vs. spiders, a story for vengeance is met with unique villains who don't care for money or fame. -killua and gon, words cannot be created to fully describe the journey and transformations of the duo that have faced it all, happiness, despair, joy, anger, fear, danger, death, and more. the unconditional love from killua through out the entire series is probably one of the highlight's for me, personally. loved your reactions and constant praise for this story, no one writes like togashi, hope we can someday see how things end, let's enjoy the detours while we wait!!

I know you guys love kpop as much as we do haha, so if no one told you yet, here ya go. I was SO EXCITED when I learned about it, and I'm someone who usually skips openings and endings, so the fact that I watched them every episode for their respective arcs was different and enjoyable haha. Also, yeah, not just the kpop OPs and EDs but in general, that's another thing this show has done for me that none other has - almost every arc, I have watched the opening and then the ending of the episode instead of skipping it to get to the episode because they were just So Amazing. Can't wait for you guys to watch Black Clover

2024-04-28 16:11:09 +0000 UTCI started watching Black Clover in dub, but there was a point in the anime where I just couldn't wait a week for the next episode so I continued it in sub, but it was only two episodes ahead so I still had to wait every week for another episode until it finished airing 😂😭 For me, the switch was a bit jarring, but only because I decided on it impulse - and I think that the show is perfect in both sub and dub, they don't veer off of meanings from translation or anything if that's what you're worried about, and the dub doesn't have extensive comedy or ad libs or wtvr like VAs like to do these days. I mean, yeah, it makes dub a lot more better for recent anime, but some people complain it's not original or wtvr - so, just so you know, the dub for Black Clover is okay, it doesn't stray from sub. I really enjoyed it in both, and I'm someone who usually hates dub, but I can't say whether it's better than sub or not.

Even the manga was canceled from shonen jump. You can cleary see the health problems of Tabata coming with lag of ideas and bad story writing in the later manga chapters.

I had so much fun re-visiting HxH with both of you (can't believe I've been watching you two for so long that now you two are husbando and waifu! 😗) The whole HxH is all about a journey. When Togashi first thought this series, he only thought the basic concept about hunters, and he thought he could do whatever he wants with that concept. He didn't set the end for this series at that time. What he did with every arc, he was just spreading all out what he wanted. But somehow connected all of that, too genius. Look at each arc is very different, from exam arc, zoldyks arc, heaven arena, york new, greed island, chimera ant, election arct and the latest one, dark continent arc...so distinct unlike any other series that usually have the same connecting stories.

2024-04-28 11:36:57 +0000 UTCThe thing about this is the writer isnt just talkin to gon through ging but also to us cus for example ron thought to himself whats next he goes after ging again and again? well heres what ging says its the journey not the destination/meeting ging that is important and now gon met him its enough for gon he reached it they dont have to play father and son from here on out and you know live in the same house and good morning gon did you have fun at school today and all that cute family stuff gon and us enjoyed the whole journey from the hunter exam to the chimera ants and the election/nanika arc revealing gings character to me this is a fucking perfect ending it could have ended like this for me and it would still be perfect to me theres no need for more chapters and thats not to say there isnt more to write about because obviously there is and togashi obviously did and(i gotta say the manga is sooo good to) but as an ending to me this is perfect it was bitter sweet with killua and gon literaly everything was so good the way gon and killua turned away and looked down as they were parting ways

I watched Gurren Lagann and Code Geass both subbed/dubbed multiple times and i think those are also on par. Also some video games as well like Final Fantasy 16.

Whoever says it’s bad is just straight out biased. It had some very hype moments, very hilarious moments, and not really any cringe like most dubbed animes.

2024-04-28 02:54:12 +0000 UTCI haven't seen any comments about it yet so ill make one The Gotoh you see return to the grave site in the credits is not the original, I think the implication is that if Killua is ever to return they are going to use the shape shifting creature to pretend that Gotoh is still alive for Killua's sake. Killua would be really hurt if he found out that one of his closest friends died for him in order to protect Alluka since Killua wanted to take all of the risk on himself. Similar to how he doesnt want Gon to know how much threat he put himself under to heal Gon. I think in the long run fooling Killua is probably not the right call but I do believe that is the implication of the scene. Also since I'm not sure if you remembered/noticed the reason they showed the flock of birds at the end was because those were the Small-billed Swans that Kite had wanted to save since they were only native to a certain area that was being destroyed. Last thing XD Yu Yu Hakusho is another show you are probably safe to watch in Dub, even the most die hard Sub fans (Myself included) have to admit that the casting and overall performances for the YYH Dub is pretty good. My personal 2 cents on it are that its up to your preference, people are gonna be upset no matter what so I think doing what you are most comfortable with and what you enjoy most should be the top priority.

Hopefully, we'll get a continuation of the anime one day and Togashi's "new schedule" keeps him writing/drawing without much pain. Now...it's time for some BLACK CLOVER!!! (pls watch in sub). Fullmetal is the only show that should be watched in English dub, lol. Also! The butler, Goto, definitely did die. What happened is the shapeshifter took his place; Canary is possibly trying to make sure Killua (if or when he returns) doesn't have a major shift in his life with Goto being gone. That's why the shapeshifter gives a thumbs up to the grave as if to say "don't worry, i got it covered".

It's in the next few chapters after this finale. The fight is completely insane and is the one fight i wish more than any other would be animated.

All the characters are so real and independent so that this show sometime doesn't even need Gon & Kirua. That's how strong those characters are and the author Togashi is a master of making great characters. He said "If you can make some great characters, they will make a great story for you." Thank you for sharing the great reactions guys, I really enjoyed them a lot!! Enjoy the little detours guys!!

So where the manga is right now I wouldn’t say it’s kurapica centered but he definitely plays a big role. It’s too layered to just say it’s based on one thing/person. There’s SO many things going on with many characters. The current arc has been going on for abt 50 chapters and it’s looking close to ending into a massive arc that could be much bigger than the ant arc imo. In terms of scale and world building etc Non related to Hxh tho. As someone who always watches sub. Brotherhood dub is amazing. I only watch it in dub. The only times I’ll say the dub>>sub is brotherhood and dbz

Loved your after discussions and theories. This anime is so special to me, many others and now you guys and it’s been a rollercoaster. What Ging revealed abt the outside world is way too exciting, the potential is fking insane. One day Togashi sensei will return. This is the first anime I’ve finished with you guys so thank you and it’s been a pleasure revisiting Peak x Peak.

Tbh, I know there is the manga and that the author got sick and all, but I feel like this was meant to end where it ended. Yeah it hits something up with Kurapika, but doesn’t leave you in a cliff hanger, it kinda tells you that he has been doing what he wanted to do and collect the eyes. I honestly think that this is the legit ending and I’m so fine with it. Specially with that closing line. It’s too perfect, why continue!? It’s almost as if the author is telling us to enjoy the journey, the show might have stopped, but we need to enjoy what comes next, even if it isn’t the show. Maybe some day we’ll get there! Also, Black Clover is not finished, I believe the anime got dropped cuz they run out of funds or the studio shut down, idk, someone correct me if I’m wrong! All I know is that it is not finished. Another side note, whenever you watch Cowboy Bebop, that’s another anime I believe you should watch in Dub. In my opinion it is better than the sub, one of those rare things.

About Togashi, he cannot continue due to his back problems and most likely he doesn't want anyone to work on HunterXHunter. And honestly, I can understand. No one writes like Togashi. If there it's a posibility to give a chance to the manga, do not hesitate. But since you enjoyed HunterxHunter so much, you guys should really had gave a check to YuYuHakusho, the other masterpiece made by Togashi. Anyway, thank you guys.
