The MC VA gets a lot better after the 1st season. I remember reading that the VA was instructed to be over dramatic with the yelling because they wanted him to stand out. The creator wanted this show to be the next of the big 3 because he loved those series so much.

The magic-less brother (i'm bad at names) is gonna join sexy sasuke to retrieve his grimoire, and since they're going to a place where there's a black market of clover grimoires, one with a BLACK clover is going to choose him, and it will be something based on his determination and physical prowess. I also bet since his brother lost his grimoire, he'll have to rely on his brothers physical strength that he's been perfecting and he'll get a newfound respect for him. That's my prediction

I almost dropped this thrice, I just don’t understand how my friend said it’s good. But it started to pick up for me after 30+ episodes, and established itself for after 40+. It was really slow and seemed like a chore for me to finish lol, but then I later just realized I binged the rest of the eps till 170 in a single sitting lmao. I loved Naruto and I loved MHA. I've watched Black Clover but I can't say I liked it as much as the others. Liking a few Shônen Nekketsu doesn't mean we would like them all haha. It took me at least 50 or 60 episodes to start getting hooked, the begining is quite boring, and I think overall it lacks some more interesting characters to get attached to.

tThe storytelling in manga and anime is very weak in my opinion. You can easily predict any arc. + The last chapters are very repetitive and not good, imo. You can clearly see that Tabata has health problems when you see how inconsistent the lore and power scaling is and how badly the enemies are written. I don't blame him for that, it's the hard manga industry in Japan with its dead lines. That's why he had black clover taken out of the Shonen Jump, I think. It's a good shonen, but there are hundreds of them. Each character is easily replaceable and it wouldn't bother me at all if one of them died because I have no connection to them because of the way they are written. I could write more about the story and the lack of emotional depth, but I don't want to spoil the story. But you can still enjoy the show and the action and fight scenes are good too. But you have to be aware that it's not even close to the level of Naruto or HunterXHunter

I have heard that Black Clover is a good manga. While reading Shonen Jump every week, I have seen some cool characters in the later chapters (even though I haven't read all the mangas from the magazine, I can still recognize them when they're on front page/cover). However, I have never really tried to dive into it. Maybe now is the time to give it a try 😗

This show came out weekly most of the 170 episodes so animation quality isn’t a point of focus. It’s different than other newer shows you’ve seen. Just keep that in mind. Don’t be discouraged. Characters are fun!

I was surprised when this won the poll since I had to struggle through it. B4 I shit on it I will give it props because it does have some great characters and most of the action scenes are good. The story also has some peaks that make it stand out. However, Asta is straight up plagiarized Naruto smh I wanna be sorcerer king and never give up smh I wont even get into other similarities as to not spoil anything. I also wasn't a fan of how slow the plot progresses at times but apparently some people think payoff is worth it lol. I'll stick around for the 1st arc to give it a 2nd chance but skeptical.

The beginning of this comment might sound negative but that's not my intention and I feel like it's overall positive so I wanna share my thoughts that noone asked for? I tried this show back when it was new but couldn't finish the first episode. To me it just felt like the author used AI to generate a main character compiled from all the most unfunny and annoying traits from the shounen genre as well as a really annoying VA. However, it's a good thing that you guys watch whatever you feel like watching for both your own sake as well as the viewers who get to watch you doing something you genuinely enjoy. I'll give this another chance and try to look past my thoughts on the MC. Might find other things about the show interesting. Hope you like this show and maybe give people a different view point of it that they never thought about 👍

The skipping intro thing needs to go. Most of the "spoilers" are so irrelevant that only manga readers would understand or people who already watched the show. Yet people in the comments make it seem like every intro is AoT Season 4 part 2 or Shippuden OP 16. Just watched the intros the comments will warn of spoiler intros like they always do. Either your farming the intros for content or you are actually paranoid for not reason.We have halfway through shippuden and still havent gotten those intros by the time you watch it the magic is gone

I mean I could blame studio Perriot who did the Naruto anime, but I absolutely will not blame Kishimoto. The manga is a whole different story which I liked well enough, maybe a 7.5/10 for me as a series, which is good. And I don't fault any people who do enjoy Naruto, there's a lot of family and friends who have Naruto as their favorite so trust I have no ill will to the fans. I'll also say there were some good fillers, the Laughing Shino episode comes to mind.

The reason for the fillers is because of greed and the times Naruto came out (Tv era). Since Naruto had to come out every week for $$$ they had to make filler because they caught up with the manga. Being transparent, I tried watching this anime around 2020 but stopped very early maybe like episode 3?? hey guyz, i dont know if you saw my comment, but I want to tell you in advance that black clover is a weekly anime. the studio that was animating black clover was focusing on boruto instead (same studio as Naruto and bleach). In the end, black clover got poor animation for a long time. Its still has a great story and good written characters and enjoyable. You will see good animation on important moments tho.

When i gave Black Clover a shot, I’ll be honest, it never got me really hyped for it. The characters were not that interesting to me and borderline annoying. Everything seemed too cliche… almost like it tried to be Naruto too much but with wizards instead of ninjas. i still ended up watching it, and it kept my interested enough for me to finish the anime. then I found myself wanted to know what happened next, so I started reading the manga where the anime left off… and now that the manga chapters are taking forever to come out Im actually annoyed… funny how that works out… TLDR… i felt like I didnt enjoy the show and there are a lot of things about it I actually dont like, but I ended up wanting to finish it anyway 😅

the main complaints i see of the show is the VA of Asta at the start of the show. Which I totally understand. BUT you guys have a rly good mindset going into new shows. Form your own opinions, and take what the internet says with a grain of salt. The VA gets a lot better as time goes on and it isnt bothersome at all. Imo, its part of the charm even if it is slightly over the top haha.
