Kabuto said all abilities including Nagato's Rinnegan and Itachi's Sharingan ability, but we know that Nagato's(or Madara's I guess) Rinnegan is now in Madara's eyes, and Itachi sharingan is in Sasuke eyes(remember he did the surgery?) which means the reanimation jutsu will bring back a replica of those eyes if they were to have all their abilities.

The magatama symbol is very prominent when they mention the Sage of six paths, but the symbols on Madaras "fan" represent the Sharingan, the thing is that you'll see the magatama symbol all over the place, the Sharingan is the main one, so Uchiha display it in alot of their stuff.

You guys were wondering why Kabuto was able to bring back Nagato and Itachi with their rare Ocular abilities/powers intact with the Edo tensei jutsu, when their eyes are still in the world of the living and being used by someone else... Well, I'll try to explain this as succinctly as I can: in the Naruto Universe there are two types of world: the physical one and the spiritual one, and chakra is the one and only energy that connects both worlds. Since every single human being in this universe has chakra, when they die their vital energy (chakra), along with all their abilities/jutsu that they once had while still alive, are transferred to the spiritual plane . When their soul (which is basically composed of chakra) is summond through Edo Tensei to the World of the living, all their power – including rare Ocular Jutsu – are brought back as well. So, even though their eyes were taken off and are still being used today by someone else, when they are "revived" by the Edo Tensei technique, they can still access and use the Rinnegan and Sharingan, respectively. Anyways, It will all be explained in the last episodes of the series.

my theory btw about why the fourth hokage came up with rasengan. 1) he grew up during the last great ninja war where tailed beasts were being used as weapons. He must have SEEN a tailed beast bomb and he's like "damn that's destructive as hell, but these beasts are just made out of chakra, they're not DOING ninjutsu. So they're just forming their chakra into this ball and firing it off. 2) the 4th hokage was noted as having an immense amount of chakra, so he probably attempted to replicate it just out of curiosity and experimented until he found a way to contain it in his hand. He died before he could take the next step which was adding chakra nature to it and experimenting with it further, but I think that's just the extent of his thought process. If you consider the yellow flash/jiraiya/naruto as the "big chakra" style of ninjutsu specialization, it makes sense that this was naturally cultivated between him and jiraiya and why jiraiya was inspired to take on naruto - because they had enough chakra to fight in a way that emulates tailed beasts. If you think about it, Naruto doesn't REALLY use a lot of ninjutsu, at least not in the sense that other people do. Other people control puppets with chakra, control bugs with chakra, specialize in seals so they can spawn a fuck ton of weapons. Sakura doesn't have a lot of chakra but she specializes in basically micro-precision so she gets the most bang for her buck. The ninjutsu like EEEEEEEVERYONE else is doing is finding ways to amplify the strength of their limited chakra. The "uzumaki-style" (including naruto's mom btw) is all based around finding and developing ninjutsu that they can just fucking DUMP chakra into. examples: - rasengan - frog kumite (literally throwing chakra off your body to pimp slap fools) - giant rasengan - that toad domain expansion that jiraiya did - the jutsu jiraiya did that turned his hair into a giant prehensile tail / machine gun - shadow clone jutsu - kushina's INSANE sealing jutsu that can single handedly hold back the ninetails (the only other jutsu we've heard about that can do this is the sharingan and the reaper death seal, one costs an eye, the other costs your soul, so she's using A LOT of chakra to make that happen) - the fourth hokage's teleportation jutsu (remember that squad that said it takes four of them to even attempt what he did, and he could literally spam teleportation) - freaking rasenshuriken Like literally every one of them is just like "yeah no precision, no special trick, just DUMP CHAKRA" So yeah that's why i think it naturally progressed that way, because it inspired the fourth to think of more ways to capitalize on having an inhuman amount of chakra, and rather than just having tons of reserves at the end of a fight, you just go all in from the get go

It came out last year and It explains everything about the jutsu, but I only recommend you to read It after watching the episodes 282/283. I think that's the best way to do It.

The character that was the most popular in the Naruto-verse was Minato, so Kishimoto told the story of how and why Minato invented the Rasengan. If you want to read that, it would flesh out the lore. And the manga is better than the show. Naruto's transformation outfit is 5x better in the manga than what you see in this very episode

Rinnegan is not something that is being past on where there is always one person possessing it. Nagato was a HUGE surprise to Jiraya because literally NO ONE had it since THE Sage of Six Paths who was also thought to not even be real in the first place.
