I'm sure others have explained this but Road to Sakura was promotional along with an episode called Prologue to Road to ninja for the Road to ninja movie which in my opinion was one of the better Naruto films, highly suggest you watch once you finish the series. That aside some fillers were created to flush out character stories thar weren't explained in the manga I'd also suggest them but you'll definitely skip so I'd say rather than jumping into boruto, go back and watch the back story fillers.

They're considered "hidden" or "secret" jutsus and I'm sure they probably have more of an affinity if your from the family, but as mentioned they are not exclusive. You got everything right until you mentioned Shadow Posession, and Mind Transfer. Those are NOT Kekkei genkai, it's just techniques past down through clans and learned by said clan. But they do NOT required a special bloodline trait, anybody could learn those techniques if they learned from a user of that said clan. For example if Naruto really wanted to, he could learn Shadow posession if Shikamaru teached him. On the other hand kekkei genkai can NOT be taught.

People can LEARN how to use all standard elements of chakra (more than 2 is EXTREMELY rare). COMBINING 2 or more elements REQUIRES a BLOODLINE trait. Even then its still not guaranteed to even obtain that bloodline trait of COMBINING chakra. 2 chakras being able to be combined = kekkei genkai (ice, wood, lava, etc) 3 = kekkei tota (particle style). You've already seen Kakashi use earth, water, fire and lightning (mudwall, water dragon, fireball, chidori). He does not have a special bloodline thing, he's just a literal genius. Same with many characters. Its just the matter of COMBINING the elements that's a Bloodline thing. My understanding of the reason it's called hidden leaf is the following. Fire affects the soil, it will make growing things easier. Soil fertility can increase after low intensity fires since fire chemically converts nutrients bound in dead plant tissues and the soil surface to more available forms. Or the fire indirectly increases mineralization rates through its impacts on soil microorganisms. As such the plenty dense forest surrounding the village it got the name "konohagakure", village hidden in the leaves. Referring to the rich soil in the fire nation.

Yes, guys, Naruto was born with the whiskers, he probably got it because of the influence of the Nine Tailed Fox's Chakra when he was a fetus growing and developing while inside his mom's belly. Remember the episode where Naruto met his mom?! Well, she stated that when a female Jinchūriki of the Nine Tailed Fox gets pregnant, the seal that keep Its power under control and suppressed gets proportionally weaker and weaker and, by the time she is about to give birth to a child, the seal is almost undone. Originally the phrase that got him sealed would've been "I'm the Raikage's right-hand man, you will indulge me." which 'indulge' has 'dull' when said verbally. But in the version you guys watched, the phrase was "I'm not a timid rabbit." This is a bit more confusing because instead of being one word, it's two. So if you put the 'd' from timid and the 'rab' from rabbit, it forms 'drab'. Personally speaking, the drab translation is stupid. It makes more sense when it was dull. Right now try saying indulge. You'll be forced to say the word dull. Now try saying timid rabbit, you're not going to hear drab. Another thing about the Nine-Tails chakra. Each tail is not additive but exponential in terms of power increase. The difference between Version 1 cloak and Version 2 cloak is INSANE. And the amount of chakra it takes to attain the Four-Tail state is an amount of chakra the whole ninetails just accidentally lets out while fighting. They did a filler where basically some kid named Sora was experimented on to make a fake nine-tails cloak and it was literally just the leftover chakra from the ninetails fighting in the leaf village that got him there. It's also stated in other spots but ya know, spoilers. To summarize it's like this. 1^1 = 1 2^2 = 4 3^3 = 9 .... 9^9 = 81 Each tail of the cloak is ridiculously stronger than the last, and to make the cloak you only need a teeny tiny bit of the whole nine-tails. There's a reason they think of the Nine-Tails as an actual world-ending threat. lmao.

If anyone didn't explain it to ya, the english dub does a good job of explaining why Darui got sucked in. The english version his word was "Dull" instead of drab and he said something to the effect of "And I'll" but the way he said it accidentally formed the sounds needed to say dull. That's basically what happened. I'm not sure about the Japanese portion of it but he accidentally said Drab using other words.

To explain why Darui (Darui means drab) got sucked in, word for word in Japanese he said: "Ore wa Bosu no migiude DA. RUIjihin janē!" Kinkaku picked up that from the two separate sentences, Darui accidentally connected the two to make his spirit word. English speakers is probably very close to impossible to pick this up!

Okay so I'll explain. Please if Michelle or Ron or anyone else is reading please skip to avoid spoilers. So there is no citable source for what Kishimoto(Naruto author/creator) supposedly said. In an interview, he said that Hidan was his favorite Akatsuki member and him and Kakuzu were his favorite pair. Hidan was his favorite due to how complex he was and how many liberties he was given through that arc, showing Shikamaru smoking(while he is a minor I think in the manga only), decapitating him, his "death" and religion. When asked if he was still buried there, he says yes. It was never stated that he died from malnutrition it's more or less an assumption people made from the fact that he was never used again. But Kishimoto stated that he didn't bring him back cuz it would just be another character to draw and he wouldn't add much to the plot like the other characters would. asuma for example. If you've watched Yu Yu Hakusho up to Chapter Black, you might know what I'm talking about. The translator tried to convey what happened with English words but it sort of got lost in the sauce. What Darui said in Japanese was, "Ore wa Boss no migi ude da, ruijihin ja nee!" 'Da' and 'ruijihin' were said right after one another... da...ruijihin... da...rui...ji...hin.... da...rui..... DARUI = DRAB. As for the English, look at 'timid rabbit' closely. T I M I (D R A B) B I T. 😉

You forgot the nine tails is strongest ..not every one can "handle it" you need a lot of chakra . This why they used Narutos clan people for nine tails people with lots of chakra deserves. Those 2 brothers have tons. They aint average ninjas. Those 2 brothers are extremely very strong.

So from what I understand that was stated by Kishimoto himself. But never in the manga or anime. If you look at the Naruto Wiki page. Hidan's status is listed as Incapacitated while Kakuzu and others who died are listed as Deceased. I'm also trying to be as vague as possible as to avoid possible spoilers.

just to confirm 1 thought it is called the village hidden in the leaf its not the hidden leaf village and that is why their logo on the hokage building means fire coz they are the hidden village of the land of fire so simply its the fire village hidden in the leaf coz of the forest. i hope that helped a little.

i agree with yall on the naming of villages in what Land. i think the writer couldve done better if Leaf village was where it is geographically but make that the land of wind instead of fire. then where the sand village is because its so hot and dry that should have been the land of fire.

Just in case you were wondering, they said in the last episodes the requirements for resurrection jutsu. DNA of the dead person, soul must not be sealed, and a living sacrifice. Hidan is immortal as cannot die so technically he is just buried alive. Shikamaru stated that he will continuously be watched by the Nara clan. He may or may not escape or be freed. Gonna have to watch to find out.
