Yeah, this was inevitable, unfortunately. The light novels have a stretch of like three volumes in a row that are very slice of life heavy—focusing on building up Tempest and Rimuru’s reputation in the world—and not much actual plot progression. There are some cool moments, but it slows WAY down during this time. Then ramps back up to 100.

2024-06-27 19:28:45 +0000 UTCthere's so many good slice of life shows !!! that will be a nice change of pace 😁 just fyi aswell i'm sure others have mentioned it, but there is a slice of life of this show called slime diaries! it's literally just them chilling and doing stuff 🤣 it does a lot for personalising the background characters and just showing their daily happenings and what they get up to ☺️ makes the world feel even more alive. i think its set just after the orc disaster in season 1!
