2024-06-28 03:08:22 +0000 UTCI know it's all jokes in the beginning, but maybe to just have that discussion, Black Clover, and most of the anime you're watching, are shounen, which is a subgenre of anime directed at teenage boys. So of course there's going to be a lean more towards the male perspective, and ideals and goals. That being said there are plenty shounen type shows that have a female centric cast of characters that are also well made. Chihayafuru comes to mind where they play with the "sports" type anime mixed in with a small dose of romance. Soul Eater is another that just popped in my head that's practically a battle shounen with just a female protagonist. Both excellent series btw.
