oh my god i am so stoked for code geass after akame, i didnt even know this info and yall are 13 eps into akame already, u guys should like casually mention this in ur next naruto episode or something, or actually maybe right after u finish akame, just like mention code geass being next as a post announcement or something, i feel there'd be quite a few people who'd upgrade their tiers to see that.

Then theres and ENTIRE page of Kaneki debating with himself what that term means, he thinks about cutting him in half, removing half his organs, ect but all those options would kill Ayato. He then settles of BREAKING HALF OF EVERY BONE IN AYATO'S BODY, AND SUCCEEDS BEDORE AYATO IS RESCUED!!

I talk about dub not score so yeah english dbz is one of the worst dub TO ME. Overall any anime english dub to me is just not at the level of I've heard in other languages especially japanese. You are from an english country so maybe you're just used to it since english is you main language but when it's not, you here the difference instantly. I h ave NEVER see anyone that doesnt speak english as a main language say that they prefer to watch any anime in english over japanese lmao

Lmao idk if it's because I come from a francophonic country but to me english dbz and english dub is close to the worst dub I've heard. Tho I like english as a language it's just not it for any anime that doesn't take after american culture (cyberpunk for exemple is great in english but would still 100% slaps in japanese). I've actually never seen anyone say they prefer dragon ball z in english... at least before today haha idk this was a general preference over there (america). To me, animes best voice actors are: 1- japanese 2- French but carried by their insane voice actors talent. France has to me the world's best voice actor in cinema so it doesnt "fit" anime format either but it's still quite good because they're that talented 3- English if only it's set in an english speaking country or take after their culture

But kaneki can now take insane amounts of pain because of the torture like when he breaks his leg on purpose etc.

His resolve to be the person he his now and what tried so hard not be was possible by his desire to protect the ones his love. He can't comeback to teh shop for this particular reason but the season will be about what Kaneki is ready to do to protect his friends.

But on the other hand, the ED for this season is good. And we get other good OSTs, just like the one at the end when Kaneki announced he's joining Aogiri. Or there's another one you'll listen later "Glassy Sky" - a masterpiece.

Kaneki says because he's Touka's only brother he won't kill him, but he beat up Touka so bad so he just half kills him - breaks HALF the bones in his body. Then the scene fades black as he's counting to 106.

Not necessarily because the dub is bad, but because the Japanese VAs are just that good. And it fits better because the shows are made with Japanese voices in mind. Good/Very good ? Yes. Better ? Nah.

2024-07-19 08:17:46 +0000 UTCYup, (Spoilers for manga) In the manga Kaneki breaks every bone in Ayato's body because he hurt Touka and then he sort of becomes a morally grey 3rd party anti-hero of sorts trying to figure out all this ghoul shit while also trying to keep Anteiku out of harm's way. I figure the anime studio thought it would be easier for people to understand Kaneki's motives (keeping his friends safe) as an undercover in Aogiri instead.
