2024-09-05 06:41:54 +0000 UTCYou guys would understand if you rewatch what Yami says when describing licht he calls him a person loved by mana yes mana is the Deus ex machina of the black clover world the level at which mana favours you decides what kind of magic you will be able to control the grimoires aid you with spells and unlock the mana held within you just like my hero academia if you don't have a hero type work you move into the general population and earna. Living using your magical ability in this world asta is the unique phenomenon that was born without any mana nor could he sense mana or magic which is why Yami teaches him the japanese concept of ki to make up for astas lack of magic and mana detection...Also you guys are giving great theories but all your question will be answered in the coming episodes as black clover despite it's flaws is pretty self explanatory

Also, to clarify the story (this is RECAP NO SPOLIERS): Licht says that there's a village of people who were loved by mana (that just means that the mana favors you in the sense that it allows you to use a large amount of the natural mana - kind of like nature energy, only mana is the basis of magic). The humans outside the village (who were also born with magic, remember: this is a world where magic is the norm.) worshipped them as gods because of the vast difference in their powers and their use of mana. That was until these people envied and wanted the power that the villagers had, so they tricked the villagers, massacred them, and stole their powers (he didn't specify how or what kind of powers they stole, so at this point, we don't know).

2024-07-21 11:49:49 +0000 UTCOkay just some quick clarification. Their are 4 different Kingdoms. The Diamond Kingdom, Clover Kingdom, Heart Kingdom, and Spade Kingdom. Everyone is born with magic(except Asta). Everyone receives grimoires that greatly amplify/improve their magic at the age of 15 from the country they were born in. Diamond Kingdom mages have Diamond on their grimoires which represent their Kingdom and where they are from. Licht has a Clover grimoire which is how Yami recognized he was born in the Clover Kingdom. Now for the Clover Kingdom grimoires rank system. Their the only Kingdom that has this. 99% of mages have a 3 leaf grimoire including all the Captains. 1% of Clover Kingdom mages have a 4 leaf grimoire(Yuno,Licht, and the 1st Wizard King) which is extremely rare and means they are extremely powerful and loved by mana/magic. Asta is the only one in the world to have a 5 leaf grimoire due to his grimoire containing a devil.(You'll learn ALOT about this later in the story). Hope you guys see this and help with some confusion.

2024-07-21 08:38:35 +0000 UTCWell, I don't know who Yami reminds you of, Ron, but he always reminds me of Zoro 😅 He is a skilled swordsman, drinks a lot, is damn ripped, has an honest and relaxed attitude, sometimes says and does things that would make you think he's an idiot 😅 and he also gets lost sometimes. The only difference is that he immediately admits that he is lost, while Zoro doesn't even notice that he has no sense of direction, or at least doesn't want to admit it 😂😂 I swear, Yami and Zoro would definitely be best buddies! 😂😂

2024-07-21 05:05:54 +0000 UTCThe reason they can give magic to Gauche is because of the magic item in his eye, it stocks up magic (or like mana in this sense). Basically if you give magic to others, you won’t take its properties, but just reinforces your own. So since Asta doesn’t have magic, even if he was given, he won’t be able to use it lol (except with a use of a magic tool/weapon like his other sword Demon-Dweller). I knew Ron would LOVE Asta. All shounen protagonists have the same trope, but Asta feels different and even more inspirational/motivational lol. maybe because he literally has nothing? But still worked hard and thought positively, never gave up, and was still able to grow up nice (but loud). He has such a healthy mindset.
