2024-08-05 09:55:04 +0000 UTCBakugo isn't coming back for a second time, Ron and Michelle! He didn't even came back from the dead once! He was never dead and he never died! The first time, in season 7, where he got stabbed by saving Deku from Shigaraki, Bakugo was only injured, he didn't die. And in this case he isn't dead either, just because his heart stopped beating doesn't mean he's dead immediately. You can still save him with resuscitation, and that's exactly what's happening right now. Edgeshot gives him a CPR and even sacrifices his own life for Bakugo's life. So that has nothing to do with plot armor, guys!

2024-08-05 01:27:33 +0000 UTC@ron: I agree that bringing characters BACK definitely removes the impact, but i think in this case, bakugo isn't technically dead yet. like not brain dead. edgeshot sacrificing himself to KEEP him alive is different than plot armor bringing him back. IMO it's no different than two people with severe blood loss and one person decides to give their loved one a transfusion so at least one of them has a better chance. Also this is my opinion but i still think you're way over-annoyed about the sasuke being kept alive by juugo thing lol. Sasuke hand picked the taka specifically because he knew he was going to go toe to toe against people that could potentially kill him. Karin: strongest medical ninja we know of by FAR not counting tsunade. You can literally just munch her and heal up. Juugo: Chosen to be part of the taka because his genetics are the origin of the curse mark. Not only does Sasuke have the ability to keep juugo in check and use his immense strength, but their bodies are compatible due to both supporting the curse mark, on some genetic level they're compatible, which is why juugo was able to graft part of himself onto sasuke Suigetsu: Chosen because he shares a temperament with sasuke and raw fighting ability that makes him really hard to kill, sasuke can use his fire jutsu with basically no risk to him during a fight, and he doesn't have to worry about being betrayed because his lightning jutsu would one hit KO him So it's not like plot armor that among all the people in the world Sasuke chose to be in his squad, they'd have a degree of compatibility to help keep him alive. Also worth noting in both cases, Bakugo isn't dead yet, Sasuke isn't dead yet. They're not brought back from the dead

2024-08-05 00:37:25 +0000 UTCI love happy endings, gray ambiguous endings or sad endings as long as it makes sense for the story. Even these moments within the story. It's well established what Edgeshot can do, and how heroes like him would willingly sacrifice to protect the next generation with whatever means necessary. It also makes sense why Bakugou would be targeted in the first place and end up fatally wounded. I wouldn't even count the last time as Bakugou "dying". It wasn't a fake out.
