It was hard to watch this episode because you kept on mentioning that you might not watch the next season when you are already this deep and many of us are deeply invested with you to finish the anime. We all admit that S3 starts confusing but that is because they go back to following the manga, plus it answer all of your remaining questions about the characters and the anime itself and trust me it gets better. I know I and many others who will be disappointed if you just stop right in the middle of anime without finishing. Please please please stop letting the negativity have any say in your decision please make up your minds from watching the anime yourself and not from what others say.

Yes it gets hard to follow especially since you guys watch like 1 episode at a time with breaks in between, but seriously you should just stick it out and finish it especially since you will likely never read the manga, at LEAST finish the anime and get the ending of the story

It's sad seeing Ron & Michelle already getting influenced by those stupid comments and considering dropping on S3. They seem to be enjoying the season so far, despite all the comments saying it's bad. So idk. why would they still listen to the negative comments. S3 is totally understandable, even after watching anime-original S2. As someone else said even in the manga, the story kinda cuts and starts in a kinda confusing point. But both manga and S3, eventually explain things in flashbacks etc.

You two clearly had the vision of this anime tainted in a really bad light before even watching the first episode. Feels unfair that you two couldn't just react to the anime by yourselves and come with your own conclusion. Knowing the behind the scenes of what will be carried over from the manga to anime is a bad move, when you haven't even watched the anime yet.

The hints are very hard to See so the "woow" Feeling from underatanding Plot Twists doesnt Happen, since a Lot of them have been missed (Not to blame anyone, since, as i Said before, its very hard to Tell Connections and Other Things only by f.e. Hair color or Body language) when watching it for the second time after already knowing a Lot of Things, those Hints are a Lot easier to Spot. Similar to AOT seaons 1 f.e.

2024-08-14 06:30:12 +0000 UTCS2, 3, and 4 are a mess for all completely different reasons. 2 completely deviates from the Manga, but the action in the last eps is pretty decent. S3 goes back to Canon, and that's why people say you will be confused. The animation isn't great and they cut out a decent amount of stuff but the story is still good imo. S4 is just a shit pile, where they completely change some of the best parts of the manga and the animation still sucks. Tough call tbh

Season 3 and on is like watching a whole new anime, trying to find out what is happening the whole time and not finding that out till way later on. The only saving grace to the seasons is the action which we all knew was good anyways, so that isn’t really a plus. A lot of people keep comparing it to the manga for why it is bad, but I didn’t read the manga and just think it is bad overall. Even though I consider this my favorite anime just based on S1 and S2 only because of the character development of kaneki and the theme of getting stronger no matter what it costs to help yourself and those you love. Well, this is just my opinion on it. It was tough watching the rest of the seasons personally, but I’ll still watch it with you guys if you decide to continue because I’ll be laughing while seeing your confused faces. Haha
