I like shows that sometimes let you guess before explaining more. then chew everything out for you to swallow. Let your brain work sometimes thats the fun in watching movies and series.

In the sewer system when the old man Put away His child in the Backflash, you could See the baby's Name being Green. In Addition it was NEVER Said what gender the Baby was. So you could already know that eto was the child of him during the backflash :) Just hard to notice, especially when you arent rewatching but seeing it for the First time

2024-08-19 01:54:13 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, it’s obvious the well was poisoned from the get go because even if there is legitimate gripes with the show it should still be watched to it’s entirety with y’all’s own opinions being formed , from what I’ve seen, those opinions thus far say you should continue but anything brought up on why y’all shouldn’t watch it all stem from the preconceived thought that its bad/not like the manga /people hating, I read the manga and watched it fully, I admit it’s NOT the best, but I can’t see how it would be worth or fair to stop watching it. However, you would be able to follow the story if you did watch S3. A lot of your questions will also be answered. The issue is actually the pacing not the cut content.

You can’t really rely on opinions with anime in my opinion. Some people are a bit too “passionate” when it comes to being negative/positive about an anime that they’ve watched

I was watching s2 when it was first airing and then moved on to manga so idk about seasons 3 and 4 just what i've heard, s2 had alot of fuckups tho that never happened in the manga

Also don't worry about arima you will find out about him in season 3 if you do decide to watch it , it explains alot of old questions that aren't awnserd in this season.

2024-08-18 20:18:46 +0000 UTCI love the story of Tokyo Ghoul, but in my opinion, the anime feels like it was made for those who’ve already read the manga and just want to see some scenes animated. Don’t get me wrong, fans—the anime isn’t terrible, it’s just unfortunately much inferior to the manga. I’m not an avid manga reader, but this was one I had to read after watching the first season. The manga isn’t perfect in its storytelling either, and even the hardcore fans know that some parts can drag on. If, after watching the anime, you feel like reading the manga, I suggest starting from the beginning because there are quite a few differences, and the amount of information and context the manga provides is much greater. I love you all.

Arima was there. And well, they've walked few times about him (like when they had the 'council meeting' in CCG about the Anteiku operation, Arima wasn't the one who didn't show up), but not much scenes aswell.
