That carries such a strong meaning, he is literally letting him know that his love for his brother is so big that it surpasses any personal believes. That's just love. Itachi and Sasuke story was the thing make me realize Naruto was my favorite anime, I have the manga panels for the child forehead tap, the one when Itachi died and this part of him embracing Sasuke tattoes in my arm due to how impactful it was for me, and I'm an only child haha

And it is one of the best written characters in the whole show, the only bad thing in this episode was the way itachi beat Kabuto, unfortunately the izanami doesn't make sense in the lore of Naruto (I would not say much more yet because prevent any spoiler), without the izanami there's no way that itachi and Sasuke could beat Kabuto, that's the only thing that I don't really like about this part but everything else is amazing and made me cry a lot 😢, love u guys ❤️

It makes me think about just how much Itachi was already hurting at that point and how much it hurt him to actually kill then and keep on living that kind of lifestyle. I think he wanted to die to end his internal suffering while simultaneously helping sasuke to become strong enough to defeat anyone who comes after him. Maybe that is another reason he chose to make sasuke hate him in order to grow stronger to not only be able to protect himself but also that he wanted to die only by his hands. I think, in a way, that is his closure to atone for all he did, and also did NOT do in the case of sasuke

Also in order for Kabuto to get out of the loop, basically he had to become an entirely different person by accepting who he is, and not trying to pursue power so the idea is most likely that we're suppose to understand that couldn't happen again. Lol, That's the vibe I always got from it. And you mentioned who Itachi looked up to, Shisui was the one he looked up to. I won't say anymore than that.

Just as in the real world we are constantly coming up with new technology (i.e elon musk tesla, spaceX, Microsoft, Apple, etc.) it is also true in the shinobi world that people are always coming up with new jutsu (some of which carries risks or consequences that are too great, and thus end up being considered forbidden). They are not "forbidden" to begin with. They are only labeled as such, AFTER it has been tested, demonstrated, etc and the risk/consequences are known. So it's not something where we can say, "this is all of the possible forbidden jutsu." Jutsu is an art & technology in this world. It is constantly being developed, and new ones are constantly being created. Most of the world wouldn't know about one new forbidden jutsu that was created, until its power or uniqueness is demonstrated in a battlefield, and then ends up becoming famous and known throughout the world. This is just my opinion, but my guess is, people who have never fought Itachi or an Uchiha that knows how to use Izanagi or Izanami, probably have no idea that such jutsu even exist, let alone that they are forbidden. Same goes for Reanimation, etc.

One of the kindest characters to exist in anime. A TRUE G.O.A.T.! And this all happened because of the position he was born in and his GENIUS as a shinobi. He was the ONLY one who could have done what he did, and he carried out his mission as a true shinobi. Even in the akatsuki he still used to relay Information back to the Third hokage as a secret agent. This man still died being a proud leaf shinobi and did absolutely everything despite all that he went through to protect his younger brother. There is no other shinobi like Itachi Uchiha

Don’t think too much of it. Forbidden jutsu is basically like laws. Like this jutsu is banned and there are like hundreds of them. Even Naruto’s shadow clone jutsu is a “forbidden jutsu” if you recall from episode 1 he had to steal that scroll containing forbidden jutsu and that’s how he learned it.

Seeing Itachi cry before he killed his parents broke me, just seeing it through his perspective is heartbreaking, and his parents just accepted their fate, imagine what he had to go through. No worries Ron and Michelle I'm crying with y'all too lol. Back in episode 298, Itachi quoted "A true shinobi does not set out to seek glory, they protect from the shadows, that is a mark of a true ninja." which was what Shisui told him. Itachi literally protected everyone from the shadows, no one knew it was him. He went out as a hero saving everyone by releasing the reanimation jutsu. I'm glad that Sasuke now has closure especially from hearing the truth from Itachi himself. This is why Itachi is my number one favorite character in Naruto. RIP again to the goat Itachi. 🐐 He truly deserved to be Hokage. Now you see Itachi lied to Sasuke saying he killed Shisui. Shisui committed suicide.

It's the kind of "I love you" that you only say to your most beloved, usually your spouse, or a mom to her child, and it's not something that Japanese people say every single day. It's a very emotional and deep way of saying "I love you". Add to that "Zutto" which means "all along, always" and you get how much Itachi loves and loved Sasuke. (If there's someone speaking Japanese, feel free to correct me please). It may be just me but I take Itachi's last line both as "I will always love you" but also as "I've always loved you" (because of the "Zutto") which emphazes the idea that all this time, Itachi has always loved Sasuke and has always worried about him. Also, the little hug. :'( Itachi will always be remembered as the kindest of them all. Naruto's mom told him "I love you" before she disappeared and now, Itachi told Sasuke "I love you" before he disappeared. That's beautiful.

Before he killed her, he put her in genjutsu that felt like an entire lifetime for her where they were able to die old together and have children. When it ended, she thank him and he stabed her.
