The tower of fate was being destroyed which he is connected to. That's why fate was holding his head like that and plus his host is old lol. I truly enjoyed the Zatanna arc and think it turned out great. I know of zatanna's story through other movies and truly enjoyed how they did this arc. The fact that they pull in so many things from season one to now is so dope to me. Still leaving us with questions of course.

The switch to Zatanna's arc was abrupt and jarring, and the story seems kinda messy. I was looking forward to it as I don't know much about her, so it sucks it's turning out like this.
