At least she's trying to go the path of altruism. That's the point of the comparison with Sacha. She lefted her hate aside. Even if what's she's done is unforgivable she's more mature than anyone who hate her (a child).

And i personally just feel like holding sasha's death over her is kinda pointless, gabi didnt kill sasha, she killed an enemy soldier. As the viewer we obviously care more about it on a personal level but considering gabi's and the girl's pov, its not like it was done maliciously. I appreciate gabi being more than just some angry little soldier thats easy to hate

Every human being in the attack on Titan world are subjected to the cold and cruel Socio economical system that their world is founded on. Be it Eldians or Marleyans, they’ve all been been taking part in a endless cycle of hatred. At this point whatever happens happens. Only one who has my sympathy is Ymir.
