The first American superhero was Soldier Boy and for some reason they're both stopped aging after getting injected with it because in the last episode the legend mentioned that he was in 60s before he was taken by the Russians Also I'm pretty sure Homelander isn't Soldier Boy's son since he was made in a lab.
