Though Jinshi's behavior is still unacceptable lol. The author even said on twitter by herself that Jinshi's definitely a "red flag" in today's era 🤣 Also, the author said the main story in Apothecary Diaries is about mystery, and she always forgets the love stuffs then add them briefly, so we actually don't really have to worry or pay attention about the love story here (even though many fans especially Japanese fans love it🤣).

Somewhat large 🐸😆❤️ I'm so loving your reactions especially Michelle's! 🤭 So this basically confirms Jinshi’s true identity and status: he’s the Emperor’s younger brother, Crown Prince Ka Zuigetsu. “Ka” means flower, and it’s a surname reserved exclusively for the Imperial family used only by the Emperor and Jinshi. “Getsu” means moon, so “Zuigetsu” translates to Auspicious Moon. Hence, he’s publicly known as the Moon Prince.

Same thing in Bleach with Ichigo - whenever he is shown in a shot with the moon, it is a reference to his move, “Getsuga Tensho”, which means “moon fang heaven-piercer”, and his zanpakto, “Zangetsu”, which means “slaying moon”

But nothing maomao has done or said has ever made me think that she’s asked for that kind of behavior from shinji. In fact it’s the opposite. It gives me creep vibes. And it gives pretty privilege. Cause if he were any other man without his beautiful features fans would be in arms about it. His advancements just never sit right with me. Idk maybe it’s different in the novels/mangas?
