Bleach - 162 & 163

Comments

[Tidbits 163] - Many fans and reactors tend to question why Orihime isn't attempting to resist. This stems from people forgetting why she ended up there in the 1st place, to protect her loved ones. Orihime has been manipulated to take responsibility for her oppressor's actions. If she rebels or fights back, she believes it'll lead to her friends getting hurt. This is all done intentionally for Orihime's character arc. - The anime alters content in regards to Grimmjow's actions against Loly (Black Haired Female Arrancar). In the Manga Grimmjow doesn't stomp her out, he grabs her leg and rips it off. (Fun Fact: We learn in Kluboutside from Kubo that Loly was practically offering grimmjow sex so that he wouldn't rip her leg off) - Some think that Orihime can bring someone back from death because of this moment, however, the body has to have some life for her to reject that phenomenon. Menoly was blown up, but these are Arrancars, so her body was likely still slightly alive. If Orihime had waited a little too long, it likely wouldn't have worked. - Sidenote: In regards to Orihime's offensive attack, some think it's weak but similar to a zanpaktou its strength is a reflection of the user. Orihime's "Tsubaki" tends to be weak, but it's because Orihime doesn't like hurting people; she's staunchly against it, even if it's an enemy. When she attacks, her unwillingness to harm makes it far less effective, while on the other hand she shows extraordinary talent in regards to recovering and defending. (This again is cool in that it's showing a flaw in her character that she must overcome, cause not all for of offense equate to the intent of harm.)

[Tidbits 162] - You should take note of Arrancars that seem to care for other hollows. It's certainly not normal, as a species they are in large part living a eat or be eaten world, which breaths life into the every person for themselves idea, so that fact the Starkk seemed to care is odd - Ulqiorra isn't interested in a fight rather, he continues to ask questions because he's genuinely wondering why Ichigo is doing what he's doing, he can't understand it. This adds such an appealing nature to his character; he's not acting from a sense of malice, he simply thinks 100% from a logical standpoint, yet that's what humans consider a "monster." - People don't give the #4 Reveal enough credit, it shows a mastery of diverting viewers using tropes. He used Ulquiorra in ways that lead viewers to believe he was #1 so that he can better show just how outclassed Ichigo was all along. This is important because people tend to forget how inexperienced and new to this Ichigo is and that most of his Big Victories only occur thanks to a mix of lucky circumstances

Jesus's character is like that because of his nature. Our nature is different. Righteousness comes by faith in him! God bless ๐Ÿ™Œ

Orihime's only weakness is her kindness, but at the same time that's her strength oddly enough. This entire part with her is a psychological story. The Arrancar girls (and others too; Aizen, Ulquiorra, Grimmjow) have tried everything to sway her kindness and it didn't work which is honestly impressive. The girls can't comprehend that someone existentially weak like Orihime has these godly powers, so they keep provoking her and get angry in the process because it simply isn't working. Ron said it as a joke, but she truly is giving off Jesus vibes.

Ishida always has to deal with the weirdest opponents.

Orihime annoys the living hell out of me in this show. So much.
