2025-10-06 04:47:37 +0000 UTCJust like @envy said, they'll speak one line in English and then the rest in Japanese because this is a Japanese anime shown on Japanese TV, lol. There are quite a few characters that can speak English on the Japanese side since they are smart or have worked internationally. We know Senku, Ukyo, and Gen can speak English because of the Lillian fiasco back in season 2. So yeah, assume if Team Japan is speaking to Team America, they're definitely talking in English or somebody nearby is translating/interpreting. π

Also Gen and a few others in the kingdom of science can speak english but they aren't gonna make the va's speak english the entire arc so ur supposed to remember who can and use that info to realize they're speaking in english
