Bakugo’s progression is the best one in the show besides Deku’s in my opinion. As much as Deku is a good person thru n thru and we see his trials and tribulations the most, Bakugo’s raw emotion and expression no filter and the fact that his quirk isn’t super busted I think makes his story much more alluring. To go from a cocky kid to finding humility, figuring out Deku’s quirk showing his level of awareness and intelligence and keeping the secret, the lack of hesitation, and genius level combat IQ, all of which adds to what to me is a better written character. To me Bakugo is as much the MC as Deku, we just see things from Deku’s point of view mostly and that depiction of them two as the next generation and him getting up being seen as the symbol of hope in that moment I think speaks to that. Oh AND he hit what looked like Goku’s Ultra Instinct in his last battle moment so he’s just a well written character 💥 just a fan of imperfect badass characters

2025-10-14 14:34:49 +0000 UTCI just love how Deku tried to hold back his tears the whole time when he saw All Might was about to be killed by All for One. All Might had once told him to stop being such a crybaby, and so he didn't cry because he wanted to be a good student. But as soon as Deku saw that Bakugo, his best friend, was still alive, he couldn't hold back his tears anymore. I read the manga, so I knew Bakugo was still alive, but I still cried. I just love Bakugo so much! ❤❤❤❤ He literally became the embodiment of hope ❤❤❤
