This is such a brilliant piece of writing with the father. Keicho is desperately looking for a stand that can kill his father... Okuyasu's stand could easily do that. But Keicho doesn't want to put that trauma on his brother. It's a good thing that Okuyasu is so dumb that he doesn't even realize this. He'd probably feel even more guilt

2025-10-15 22:32:06 +0000 UTCI think what makes part 4 onwards better than part 3 is that there are these mini-goals the plot heads towards, like hunting the bow and arrow and stuff while part 3 established the main goal in episode 2 and after that it was just a linear journey to the goal. It’s like in One Piece they establish the goal of finding One Piece as the goal, but the journey has so many sub-plotlines going on instead of it just being throwaway crooks trying to defeat Luffy snd stop him from reaching the goal

Also Michelle was right koichis hair going up with the aura is a dragon ball reference and his stand is a reference to cell, and you will see that more as the series goes on in something the stand does.

Also Koichi's stand is a reference to Cell and Red Hot Chili Pepper is a reference to Frieza I think. Also Koichi's design when his hair goes up is a reference to Gohan
