One Piece & Content Update!
Added 2025-10-18 17:52:09 +0000 UTCSushi Squad! Just wanted to take the time to share with you all our plans moving forward and what to expect! As a reminder: Next week starting on Wednesday, Oct 22nd, we will be taking one week off from uploading content on both YT and Patreon.
We also have heard you loud and clear regarding OP content! So here is what to expect for One Piece:
1. We will be watching Fan Letter as well as the One Piece Movie Strong World. Those both will be uploaded after our mental health break! We are pumped for both of them!
2. We will not be watching any remakes or one pace (until we feel necessary). For now, we are loving every second of the journey and will continue to watch it as it was released.
Also, Your Lie in April (Apothecary Diaries replacement) will be uploaded starting the day after our mental health week! I will be sure to change and update the schedule accordingly!
Lastly, We plan on updating our stream schedule for more days and are excited to do streams more frequently and on both Twitch and Youtube!
Thank you all so much for being here and choosing to support us. We will be using our week off to recharge, reenergize, as well strategize around ways we can improve our content for you all. I dont think we could ever show you guys how grateful we are, but we def plan on trying!

2025-10-19 16:19:32 +0000 UTCI really hope they never watch one pace again, they’ve already reference that they wish they watched the first 6 episodes of the anime instead of watching it through one pace because of so much confusion and backstory missed. One pace is not cohesive & is very choppy. “dress rosa & fishman island are unwatchable without one pace” i was HOOKED no matter the pacing in those 2 arcs, so many important scenes and minor details CANNOT be missed because they will need those scenes and information for future arcs. Let them watch the anime the way the anime was intended to be watched with full consideration like most of us did & loved.

2025-10-19 13:42:30 +0000 UTCEhh, I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong per se using one pace as it strictly follows what oda made in the manga. It’s not tiktok brainrot wanting to skip 8 minutes of recap every episode and shots of straw hats gasping for another minute and a half. One piece anime works pretty decently so far but dressrosa pacing is a catastrophy; it adapts slightly under one chapter per episode, while the normal pace is around 3-4 chapters per episode
