These arent technically filler they are canon events that have potential to be important. And the people saying they arent manga cannon are being goofy the novels are canon to the manga wtf?

2025-11-06 04:28:30 +0000 UTCMichelle - The fire technique Mirai used at the end wasn't genjutsu. It was a nod to Asuma with the lighter Guy gave her. Asuma used to have fire style jutsu. The genjutsu technique she has is where the tree branches come from out the ground and wraps around someone and puts them under a genjutsu. Mirai used it against the pickpocket thief. Her mom Kurenai has that same technique. Remember in OG Naruto Kurenai used that same technique against Itachi? So that was what Mirai was referencing to when she said her genjutsu was inherited from her mom

Also remember Asuma's last words to Shikamaru were basically to protect the "king" meaning to protect his daughter who would become the future of the leaf village, very symbolic. About Tamaki (Kiba's girlfriend) remember the final episodes of Shippuden where Kiba and Shino went and got honey wine as a gift for Naruto's wedding? They ran into a girl with cats. That was her. Kiba was blushing and everything lol so thats how it started. Also it got confirmed that they're together in that one episode where Naruto and Himawari were sending the day together on Parent/Child day. Naruto mentioned her to Kiba
