At 43:00 when you spoke about kids believing what they want to believe, rather than what they're taught, maybe your wording was wrong but I do get what you mean, Ron. An easy example or comparison of this would be Zeke of AoT. As a child he's taught different things by two different sides but in the end, he formed his own ideas based on the side that was "good to him". I don't blame Hordy for being a sponge as a kid. We are all sponges. We absorb what we see but if we don't have someone, like an adult, to guide us through the righteous path, then we naturally make what we will of reality and for most people, that shapes us into who what we become as adults... And we all know how hard it is to change once you're older. Most people never do. Anyway, such deep storytelling by Oda in a kid's anime, like, I wish more people loved it.
