2021-04-28 04:41:22 +0000 UTCI have to honestly say, I am seriously disappointed in WarnerBros Studios or whoever is over the show. I have enjoyed every episode of Black Lightning up until this season. Season 3 was great. We lost Henderson when we could have kept him and added the new guy and they could have had a story line of trying to rebel against the new meta-hating police chief. Somehow Wayne Brady’s character hasn’t appeared yet even though he survived the end of season 3. We haven’t seen the girl that TC was interested in from last season who helped fight the Markovians, Geo-Force is gone, Gambi is more concerned about sleeping with the woman from his past instead of looking out for the team, Jen absorbed energy from the ionosphere and passed out falling towards the Earth and we never saw what happened after that because the episode ended and the next episode she was completely fine, somehow TC and Jen are the only teenage metas on the show as if the 30 or 40 meta kids/teens abducted decades ago just packed up and moved. Also, I understand that Jefferson is grieving but why does his story involve him make bad decision after bad decision after bad decision. Was this show sacrificed so it’s future budget could go towards Superman and Lois? Because that show has cinema quality filming and a really decent story. Supergirl won’t have these issues. Legends of Tomorrow (and it’s forever rotating roster) won’t have these issues. The writers and executives have seriously failed the fans. At this point, turn Black Lightning into an animated show. That way, I know it will be given a worthy storyline and taken seriously because their animated shows and movies are the only thing keeping DC from being Marvel’s flop ass cousin. Sorry for this long message. I’m just frustrated by the show.
