With record of ragnarok, the manga was super detailed and had scenes that would have hard to animate with the budget it had.The studio wanted the anime out faster than it should have because people wanted it even though the manga is has long fights that stretch out for almost 10 to 12chapters. It's basically same situation with other big manga like one piece, berserker
