When in reality? In the comics? He's the Leader of the freaking X-Men. The👏🏻LEADER👏🏻 He has incredible combat prowess, he is tactical, capable and strategic. He is not some pushover. He is an Alpha-Level mutant. What is it that determines if someone is an Alpha level mutant? It is that they have the ability to conquer nations…single-handedly. His mutant power gives him the ability to mentally access a dimension of pure concussive forces and kinetic energies; That he manifests by opening portals to said dimension right behind his eyes but due to a brain injury when he was younger, he can’t control it and has to wear a visor made of Ruby Quartz. And his optic blast without his visor? In its intended free-state? Is not a streamlined beam. It’s waves of force and energy capable of vaporizing and leveling mountains and mutants alike. He’s a fuckin monster!!! Put some respect on him!!! And I love how you can tell that they have so much respect and love for these characters. Like how Storm ain’t no bitch. She is an Omega-level mutant. Literally a goddess. Like, she is actually worshipped. Treat her right!!! This all just feels so ‘right.’ It's like, they're updating it cuz they know we've grown up but they are still reminding us of the joy of seeing this for the first time as kids. It's hard to explain but it just makes my belly feel good.

2024-03-21 11:20:01 +0000 UTCMorph and Mystique are similar but Mystique has a lot more tools in her belt, even though Morph was given limited telepathic abilities by Professor X which as a side effect gave him limited telekinetic abilities, which both are limited to a radius, Morph can also reattach limbs whereas Mytique can grow limbs (and can physically enhance a whole lot of things like senses and what not), idk how to describe them, one chooses humor, and the other chooses tact? idk lols. LOVE how the X-Men can have multiples of the same ability but make them unique to different people
