Yeah, if I were her, I wouldn't have left during the shift. I would have waited after... and I would have unloaded the clip on Carmy lmao. I love him but he used Syd as a crutch and never once asked himself if she was actually strong enough. She wasn't lol.

"Her mistake was leaving the pre-order option open, that's it." Where did I say it was a little thing? It is a mistake and that is the thing she did wrong.
A CDC leaving his newly hired sous chef in charge of running his restaurant while he's off to AA meetings is detrimental. Season 1 Richie's entire existence is more than detrimental and yet ... Like I said, biases are too real when it comes to the viewers of this show. And yes, the show and the writers held the right person accountable. Who apologized? It ain't Sydney lol

this is a terrible take. just "leaving the pre-order option open" isn't some little thing. that can be detrimental to a struggling business. everyone tries to defend her in this episode and this is why its good the show held her accountable. a mistake in the food industry can be the end of business.

I will never accept Sydney slander...especially when Richie's childish ass is sitting right there!

Nah syd might not be a villain but she was wrong in this situation and for her to put it on carmy saying this is on him and then for her to quit in the middle of it just dont sit right with me.

This episode was A+. The fact that Sydney came out as the villain of the story to some viewers will always amaze me. Her mistake was leaving the pre-order option open, that's it. Richie told her that she gave a blowjob to a food critic for a good review, and it was just another dirty joke that she was supposed to accept. But when after putting up with all Richie's BS throughout the season, Sydney finally lost the plot and mentioned his daughter, she's the one crossing the line? Nah. Absolutely not lol. People are too eager to give grace to male characters while demonizing female ones.

This was a good and stressful episode Lol. But, even for me as much as I barely tolerate Richie, he wasn’t exactly childish in his episode and was actually helping out. Sydney was out of line for bringing up his daughter when that wasn’t necessary. I like her but she screwed up big time this episode. Especially after the stunt she pulled with the whole preorder situation.
