Okay I haven't read the manga, but my theory is that ultimately All For One is trying to take over Shigaraki's body. I think that's why Shigaraki could hear his voice and buckled a little at the end. I just find it very hard to believe a egomaniacal villain like AFO would deliberately give up all that power and pass it on to someone else. Definitely giving me Orochimaru vibes.

2022-10-31 12:41:49 +0000 UTCit wasn’t clear in the anime but the machine X-Less destroyed was the one with the quirk erasing bullets so no he actually didn’t fumble anything the wire that shocked shiggy awake was already just on the floor the water just ended up touching it which jolted him. Next episode you’ll see why no matter what X-Less tried to do to shiggy would of been pointless.
