That was the girl who went to the diner and couldn’t get in touch with her girlfriend. When that girl was on the phone in the diner (episode 5), she was talking to Rose and Rose asked if the girl wanted her to try and call her girlfriend. Also, you could hear Rose’s voice. Just a connection between previous episode character and this one.
