AFO's little bro had the power to transfer quirks from himself to others. But these two quirks ended up mixing and that's how OFA was made.

But seriously though My Hero has been hitting it out the park this season every episode. Shigaraki is a whole national threat at this point & onlu woke up like less than 30mins ago in anime time lol. These heroes gonna need milk, praying grandmamas, and time travel to stop him cause they looking real bad right now lmao

2022-11-07 05:34:18 +0000 UTCAll-For-One gave his brother a 'stockpiling' Quirk, His brother already had a quirk, a quirk that let him give Quirks (or his quirk) to others. When the stockpile quirk and the ability to pass quirks to others combined it created the One-For-All quirk. Why AFO wants OFA , I don't understand. Just greedy I guess Shigaraki can do it all now: he super strong now. he can steal quirks, use the quirks that he steals, give quirks to others. He can heal like a Nomu, heck, he IS a Nomu now.

2022-11-07 04:59:27 +0000 UTCThe reason twice was killed is that his quirk allowed him to create a copy of someone, quirk and all so imagine him making an army of shigaraki after he awakened at 100%. The heroes wouldn't have stood a chance, but wait there's more Toga's quirk awakening last season lets her copy the quirk of someone she care's about all she gotta do is go up stairs get some of twice's blood and make copy's of shigaraki with twice's quirk its GG after that.

But he didn't know that his brother had the ability to pass on quirks and that is how One For All was created. It makes sense AFO would want it back especially now because of the power it presently holds. And I think those Nomus he work up are definitely High Ends which are a PROBLEM. Yeah this season of MHA is like moving like the series 24. It's stressful, but it's excellent so far!

In your 5x25 reaction, Tasha predicted that they’d strengthen Shigaraki’s body into a living Nomu that can handle multiple quirks and Tre predicted that he’d hold All For One. Lo and behold, Shigaraki is now a “perfect Nomu” with the ability to steal quirks. Y’all are the goats. P.S. All For One did not intentionally create One For All as I understand it. AFO was unaware that his brother had a quirk, so he gave him one. The brother’s original quirk (transfer) and the quirk he got from AFO (stockpile) combined into One For All. AFO f*cked around and accidentally made the quirk and now wants it for himself for reasons that will be revealed later.

2022-11-07 03:36:39 +0000 UTCLet me break it down as simply as possible with no spoilers(all this was said in Season 2): All For One's brother did have a Quirk. It was the ability to pass on Quirks. AFO gave him a power stockpiling Quirk because he was so weak/ sickly and those two Quirks ended up mixing together to create One For All. That is the reason why One For All can be passed on in the first place without technology or outside manipulation.
