Before this, all of the original Captains besides 2 were just silhouettes in the Manga. There's also theories that 5 of the Captains were apart of the 5 Great Noble families. The white haired one with the scarf is suspected of being Yoruichi's Ancestor since only people from her clan have golden Eyes. Also The Quincy King called Ichigo "son" because he considers all of the Quincys his children.
