Originally, Kimberley was supposed to have a more realistic blonde hair color, but I eventually went with a much brighter yellow. Her underwear were also meant to look like that of SpongeBob’s before I decided to change them to more standard women’s underwear.
Kimberley’s hair and name are based on model Kimberley Garner.
I used Lola Bunny as a reference to draw the legs.
Lastly, her pop star persona was inspired by Natsuha Arisugawa from THE iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors.
