Wowww smh to say the Dub was trash is wild. Yall are the only content creators to have a problem with it (not saying yall have to be like everyone else). It's not even a traditional anime, it's based on a VideoGame where everyone isn't speaking Japanese. Plus the dub fits better because of the setting imo. David Martinez is Mexican American living in California and most of the other characters are all American too not Japanese so it just flows better. Plus the English voice actors are actually doing a great job with the future slang plus everyone is supposed to sound the way they sound. Sub is cool and all, but Dub is good sometimes. Yall watch Vox Machina with no problem and that's dub too, stop sleeping on it. lol

I did hear Tasha's explanation in the video but I'm still confused how it was specifically requested they watch this anime in dub.

2023-01-25 08:57:40 +0000 UTCI watched this show subbed and watched it again dub with you guys. I thought the dub was alright besides rebecca's voice. It sounded a little to nasally for me but other then that I thought the dub was pretty decent. As for the voting, I only chose edgerunners because I did not want to see fairy tail, jobless reincarnation is boring to me to see you react to besides like 3 or 4 specific episodes. Sword art online season 3 is actually pretty good and that was my original vote but seeing fairy tail and edgerunners duke it out I rather choose edgerunners. To your eternity was nice as well but that was losing pretty badly.

And when it got to the montage of the moments between David and Lucy with “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” was when the tears fell for me. And then the ending…my heart. 😣💔 I know for me personally, I wanted y’all to watch the dub because I just thought the dub was good. But it’s totally fine if y’all didn’t like it. I’m so glad y’all were able to watch it! IMO, it’s such a tragically beautiful story and I’m glad y’all got to experience it!
