This is where the anime concludes, it didn't fully adapt exactly how the manga ended so it may seem odd, so if u want you can watch the 1 episode OVA called Future Diary Redial that was made and adapted later which properly concludes everything, for me the OVA is like the actual series finale for this anime, so I would actually recommend watching it if you are not satisfied with this ending
