Woah. I didn't think the first episode would end like that. Tye beginning started off as ...okayyyy...the mid had me lost but the ending was WTMFH! 😆. 👍🏿 reaction Tre and Tasha.

2025-06-04 05:39:23 +0000 UTCThere's Devilman the OG and this newer one, Devilman Crybaby. The OG Devilman manga ran from June 11, 1972, to June 24, 1973, with the OG anime running from July 8, 1972, to April 7, 1973. Between 1999-2020, there were 5 spin-offs, with a live-action movie that came out in 2004. THIS one, Devilman Crybaby, came out in 2018. Long story short, the OG anime didn't follow the manga AT ALL (no nudity, different story, only covered 2/3 of the manga, etc.). In contrast, Crybaby adapts the entire manga with a more modern redesign of some characters and references to the OG, and keeps the ending the same. There's a scene I watched while binge-watching this in a library in my undergrad when this dropped that made me cry for the first time in years can't remember but this anime wild asf and is one of my favorites (GOTTA PRAY BEFORE WATCHING)
