I haven't heard you mention it or seen it in the comments, but wanted to mention there are two movies, and an OVA. The OVA takes place between episodes 4 and 5. The first movie is a stand-alone film: "Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll" The second movie is a continuation of the anime and finishes the story... episode 13 sort of leaves things unfinished, and this movie completes the story and series: "Violet Evergarden: The Movie"
