Technically in the books (No, this is not a spoiler) Aegon The conqueror’ mother is a Valaryon, King Aneys wife and mother of King Jaehaerys was also a Valaryon. It wouldn’t surprise me if Corlys has the Blood of the dragon even if it is diluted.

2024-07-23 01:42:28 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure both are Corlys' bastard sons but one got the hair so maybe he thought he got more of the "Valyrian Stock" and the other didn't get much so it was probably favoritism. They look older than Rhaenyra and Laenor (to me at least), so I'm assuming that's why Rhaenys was fine with Jace and Luke since she knew about Alyn and Addam and knew how to play politics, and even though they aren't "pure" they (Luke, Jace, Alyn, Addam) are still Targaryen. And as someone said above me, the Valaryons and Taragaryens have been intermingling so the kids would have more Targarayen in their blood than Valaryon. Also, remember Laenor was infertile since they tried multiple times last season.
