I think Mark Strong as Carmine Falcone is much better casting than John Turturro in The Batman. I love John Turturro, but he is not a scary dude. He always seems really nice. This recast was definitely necessary. I assume the recast was done because John was probably busy filming Severance or something, but I think it works much better in this shows favor.
