2025-05-21 03:49:34 +0000 UTCyuppppp Joel playing the guitar for Ellie was in the first 15 minutes, and it was Tommy he told, "I saved her" before you play Joel on horseback, back to Jackson. Eugene was only in a photo, and you find out he and Tommy served as fireflies, and then he died of natural causes. The show having both Eugene and his wife as characters is nice (In-game, he left his wife Claire to join the fireflies, and she was a sista with a fro and had a child, so I'm glad they didn't just keep her name and whitewash her lols). And yeah, Ellie asked him questions in a cutscene when they found that couple that ran away from Jackson because they wanted to help others, after Tommy was letting Ellie use his scope on his sniper in the fall or something (the show had them in the snow which makes sense for what they're doing). I've been liking the switch-ups for TV since the game is more immersion-based and wants to give you some autonomy, but real life is harder to do. We ain't getting Rat King till mid next season, but actually they might switch the order again so who knows but I'LL BE SAT WITH SNACKS.
