✨ Project Ultimate Reshade V2 – ATS + PNG - Snowymoon’s Lighting D (Preview) ✨

Hey everyone!

I’m still working hard on bringing Project Ultimate Reshade V2 up to good quality for ATS, especially with the Lighting D preset. While the Lighting C version is much easier to fine-tune (thanks to the extra shadow and exposure controls in Snowymoon’s menu), Lighting D has been much more challenging.

While attempting to improve the shadows and overall lighting, I’ve run into a tricky issue: in some conditions, the game can look absolutely stunning, but under other circumstances it can become either too dark or too overexposed—sometimes even damaging the look of the skyboxes.

The reason I’m spending extra time on Lighting D is because many mod trucks look far better in this setup, thanks to the way chromes and custom AO baked textures react. On top of that, Lighting D is also fully compatible with PNG’s road normal maps, which makes roads and surfaces look even more realistic.

There are still likely some changes to be made, and the final product may differ from what I’m showing now—but my main goal with this version is to create something less gloomy and soft for ATS compared to V1. I want V2 to feel sharper, more vibrant, and more balanced across different conditions.

This is still very much a work in progress, but I’ll keep refining it until it reaches the level of quality I’m aiming for. More previews are on the way—stay tuned! 🚀
