I created this sim as my first attempt at a Maxis match or alpha sim. I've been making sims based on actual people recently, so I decided to try creating Maxis match sims. The reason for this switch is that I've had trouble finding the specific hairstyles I want for my sims with Maxis match CC. I find that many of the hairstyles look quite similar, but you might have a different opinion.
Why didn't I use alpha hair in the past?
because I used to think that the files were too big, which they actually are, but not as much as I used to think. I have an 8GB alpha hair folder and a 31GB Maxis Match hair folder, but I couldn't find anything other than the same-looking hair (Maxis Match hair). I'm really disappointed with Maxis Match hair, but on the other hand, in my alpha hair CC, every hair feels different. In short, Maxis Match hair has a lot of quantity but not much variety. On the other hand, alpha hair may not be a reliable file size-wise (also depends on which cc creator u use), but the quality and variety are much better (this is my personal opinion, and I apologize if you disagree). size if you disagree).
