Male bear WIP3 Edit

I first looked for nature photography of brown bears, the tails, even if small cover the rear and I have yet to find more than 2 good examples of a bears rump. indeed there is very little reference of the intimate parts of creatures but I get most of my reference from Flickr and zoological pictures.

2017-08-30 21:01:16 +0000 UTCIunno what reference you used, but based on the one example of an actual brown bear's rear I've seen, this is actually pretty spot on: much like a dog's, but puffier, and indeed as wide as the tailbase itself. Speaking of which, I believe this is actually more realistic overall; I may be mistaken, but if I remember correctly, bear tails aren't really long/droopy enough to hide much back there. Either way, struck a perfect balance imo!
