Sabertooth WIP2
Added 2017-11-04 23:25:32 +0000 UTCJust a little more refining and the all important framing. Still not super sure about the sketch yet so to avoid lingering il do just as planed and start working on the red panda as far as color goes.
I just really want those legs and paws to pop but I still want to give the impression of a semi anthro creature that can run on all fours. I fear that the legs might not be the right size in the image to match the length of the arms/forelegs if one were to look at the model from a less foreshortened angle.

Another thing I noticed as I went through some of your older artworks, a lot of models seem to go from antrho to feral as they body goes from arms/chest to abdomen/legs

2017-11-05 04:55:50 +0000 UTCIt almost does not matter what it would look like from a less foreshortned angle, it matters what it looks like from the angle viewed. While I am not an artist, I know it is a super common thing for artworks to eschew realistic body proportions, for ones that look right from the viewed angle, take Pietà for example.
