Added 2017-12-08 01:53:24 +0000 UTCMy current project is going through some revisions and might take a day or two to finish. It started out feeling like it was going to be a walk in the park and I felt confident at first, but often times there is just something that I find so wrong about where the image is going that most of my time is spent confused and stuck. Might just be me, images like the pine marten though one of my most technical were actually more streamlined and less of a headache than other simpler images. can't say why. maybe its because I knew what I wanted from the get go. Still I feel like avoiding something too foreshortend and at an angle might help me so my next project is going to be a standing pinup and I want to focus on theme so my head gets used to drawing other things besides fur as well. That might build some connections in my head perhaps.
The themes selected will mostly give the model some subtle article of clothing or prop that they can interact with (swimmer for instance might add goggles and a beach ball, grease monkey goggles and a wrench!) the selections might inspire different creatures depending on what wins. This model will be female. feel free to suggest a species!

Here's another idea, one that could combine several of the concepts in your poll: a wolf bitch warrior with a sword and skull armour on her head, in a celtic setting, perhaps seeking advice from a druid or wizard (a creature of the deep woods, such as a marten, ferret, squirrel, or even a fox) - or perhaps down on her knees before said figure seeking absolution for the sins of her violent past...

I was thinking welding goggles or mask with some oil on the face and paws/hands. very likely to work with some sort of feliformia for a belly dancer and I do like the idea of working on a sturdy build for a fighter. I don't really enjoy working on domestic animals though, nothing against them I just prefer wild creatures and breeds if we are talking about canines. so if you want to see something akin to a harlequin I could see an African painted dog working just as well behind a fancy mask.

2017-12-08 06:12:21 +0000 UTCHere are my suggestions for species and/or breeds: (1) Grease monkey: In the context of a female character, to me conjures up an image of a Daisy Duke type character and thus the sort of animal that would look at home in such a setting, perhaps a collie or border collie, in very short ragged jean cut-offs, leaning over the engine of an old hot rod (perhaps an old corvette or camero) with her backside to the viewer; (2) Swimmr: Possibly a labrador retriever or an otter (otters are very sexy). Personally, i am not a fan of art that tries to make strictly aquatic animals (dolphins, orcas, sharks, etc.) into some sort of weird two-legged land animal; (3) Fighter: This one has a lot of possibilities, including a sumo wrester shar-pei, a kick-boxing boxer, a kung-fu fighter, perhaps a tigress or a lhasa apso (traditional Buddhist temple dogs), or maybe a heavy-set dog like a rottweiler doing American-style boxing; (4) Belly dancer: To me this conjures up an image of extreme flexibility couple with an undeniable sultiness and sexiness, and thus calls for a cat, perhaps a Bengal tiger or black panther, in the usual attire of flowing silk and carefully-calculated areas of exposure, with lots of gold jewlery; (5) Masquerade: Might i suggest a harlequin great dane (breed variant) as a harlequin?
