I'm also playing with the idea of a video essay on the movie that got me into film just so I can do something that isn't so research-heavy (and because a side series on stuff that influenced me a ton as an artist/media consumer/person is an idea I've had for ages- I even mention it in the Patreon vid).
If you missed the update videos on the channel, check them out- I will try to make them every week or every couple of weeks just so it isn't radio silence when I'm doing stuff behind the scenes.
I also really want to do an essay (with just as much research as my video games vid) about editing and the internet- like vine, youtube poops, Neil Cicierega's output, etc. That stuff fascinates me.
Around one week from now is a year anniversary of me being laid off from my last consistent job. I'm really grateful to you guys for the support. It's been a little rocky for me and working on my own web stuff has helped me a lot and has given me a real sense of purpose. So thanks!
