I had nothing to do with this but I feel like y'all would enjoy it
Added 2018-09-16 13:54:05 +0000 UTCI'm (obviously) a big Cicierega fan (he made Spirit Phone, the only album I've ever reviewed haha) but even outside of that I thought this was cool- he and his friends have this new series called Ernest Roulette where they watch Ernest films and discuss them. It's similar to Best of the Worst only it's less adversarial and more affectionate and sincere. I really dug it and was sad it didn't have many views so I figured I'd link it around generally and more specifically on here because it fits pretty well into a lot of what I try to do or like to see in criticism (approaching media with fairness/empathy, not being elitist or making a big distinction between "high"/"low" art, etc). There are two episodes and this is the second one but I felt like it flowed better than the first.
If y'all like this (me reccing random stuff I enjoy to patrons) let me know and I can do it more often, maybe even like a weekly feature or something of media not worth a video essay but worth a "I liked this and think you should watch it and here's why" rec.
