I'm one of the hosts of a new actual play tabletop podcast!! Ep 1 patron rough!!

My friend Joel is the GM of a new TTRPG actual play podcast called Critical Bits and I'm on the main cast. This is a rough edit of the first episode that will drop publicly on the 20th. It's currently using the Masks system based on Powered by the Apocalypse, meaning me, Shelby, and Paul are playing as teen superheroes. While this js technically a rough it's still pretty refined with edits and some sound effects and stuff in (I actually haven't listened to this newest version yet, but I'm excited!!). I'm very happy with how the ep turned out but we are still super open to notes or suggestions on whatever aspects of it before it drops. I will note it's a comedy podcast (Joel and Paul are Atlanta comics) so I would say if any kind of strong language or, like, I wouldn't even say "edgy" humor, just crass humor or irreverent/dark humor is off-putting to you, you might want to avoid it. I'm very proud of it and 100% stand by it, but I know my audience is used to 15 layers of academic distance and content warnings and everything, so I figured I'd mention it. It's also Joel's show, not mine, so while I definitely have a say I'm not at the helm of it either. He manages the equipment and edits it and runs the social media. I'm just "talent"(??????). Also I'll never charge patrons for episodes. We plan to probably set up a Patreon for the show to cover at least hosting costs with bonus episodes or live streams and etc for patrons. I'm not veering off into friend sim actual play stuff and abandoning academic essays. Joel is also an editor/videographer with a ton of sketch comedy and live show experience and he and I have talked a ton about what we can offer and do differently vs other actual play videos or podcasts, both having a solid, entertaining narrative with a decent guest roster and having high production values, with sound effects or music and if we do video stuff props/costumes/VFX and practical effects/etc. As in building a really funny and engaging story with a lot of artifice and theatricality vs "come listen to your friends play! as if you were right there!" or whatever. Anyway again I'm very excited! Woo! Let me know what you think! Thanks! Also I'm working on more reviews and essays! As always lol
