Heartstopper season 3 ep3

so i had a slight problem with my focus so im going to have to re film this video but i thought you guys deserved to see my original reaction , because this almost broke me

I was in tears, bawling my eyes out with this episode too. Made the mistake of watching it on the train as well, hoping people wouldn’t see.

That ending really wrecked me too, especially seeing the parents react to it and then seeing Tori on the stairs. Kit and Joe did a superb job with that scene. I loved Isaac talking to his friends about being aroace and how they really support him. I do wish James would join the friend group and have a little QPR with Isaac. That would be really great. I'm also on the ace spectrum. I can relate a lot . I had to watch all my close friends fall in love and get married. I was happy for them but it does suck being alone sometimes. It's taken a really long time to fully wrap my head around who I am and let me tell you, this show has helped a lot and healed me in ways I'm not sure i can explain. Thanks for sharing your authentic reaction with us. 💜

I appreciate that's why I still posted it , I know it I put it on youtube I'll have alot people comment on it . So the refill will be more for that.

That last scene shatters me too … it’s beautifully written and acted and I really hope it can be a guiding light for people who need to ask for help. But as someone who has struggled with mental health issues for 10+ years, I don’t think I’ll ever watch it again

I don’t think the focus issue is that big of a problem. I’d prefer that if it means getting your authentic first time reaction.

As a concerned big sister myself, and as someone who can relate (though with differences) to a lot of Charlie's struggle, those last couple of scenes really flattened me. I feel ya 💗

Even with the focus problems, I was glad to see your initial response to this episode, as difficult as it gets to watch toward the end. I think it’s a valuable episode in multiple ways, including seeing the friend group dealing with Isaac’s asexuality and seeing the encouragement he gets, and of course, seeing the sensitive way that Nick talks to Charlie about his mental health issues. And both Joe and Kit deliver remarkable performances in the scenes at the end of the episode.
