Griff WIP3

I honestly do not feel as motivated as I would like for this projects but I really don't want to abandon it. if anything this month Il work on more sketches to get some ideas going. body is alright for me but the legs and rear still do not sit right with me.
any way let me know what you think! it always helps.

if its her parts, again that is just a rough sketch that will be fixed. I am more concerned about the shape of her lags and if the angles are right.

2018-04-19 01:51:55 +0000 UTCI don't know. to me that sketch was all wrong. or at the very least felt rather sloppy. also I personally want to go for a more gracile bird like body with this image. I don't like the idea of anything that flys being heavy set. the big muscles in an avian are in there chests. hence that big anchor of bone. I made sure to give her a big chest.

2018-04-19 01:50:50 +0000 UTCI think her head looks much better now. The rear part looks better than the previous version, but there is something about it that still looks a little bit odd. I will try to find some tail up lioness pics and post them later. :)

I personally think gryphons should be heavier built and generally larger to support the wings, and thicker hind legs for take-offs and landings. The old gryphon sketch looks more gryphon to me.
