Let's Tangle!
Added 2023-10-17 04:14:51 +0000 UTCAlso wanted to show this off while I'm in here! I started on this last night...I think I spent roughly 4 hours on it so far, and it'll probably be at least another 4 before it's done, but it'll be worth it in the end!
After I finished that "Classic" Tangle and Whisper sketch, I got the urge to try making something in the early Sonic box art style! (Primarily the US box art, to be specific, though I have been using some of the Japanese box art for reference too.)
I'm...slowly figuring out how to streamline the rendering process, but seeing that I usually don't do this sorta thing, it's taking a bit of time! When I get done with Tangle, I miiiight do Whisper too. If I feel like it. I'm still considering it really. Even with the clothing simplified for their "Classic" designs, Whisper's still a pretty complex design to work with, especially since I'd want to include her cape, and likely some sort of weapon too. Not necessarily a Wispon. Maybe a pilfered Eggrobo laser rifle?
Anyway. I'm looking forward to getting Tangle done! I can't imagine it'll take too much longer...the hands/gloves will probably be a little bit of work, but fortunately the legs, shoes, and tail should be much easier due to being much simpler shapes.
